Ews Nsj Apparently Anthene is either a genus of butterfly or a city of ancient Greece. No matter the origin of the name, the artist’s soundscapes at once evoke a sense of myth and beauty. “Reflections...” swathes the listener in sustained alluring waves of dreaming, pondering and deep longing. It caresses the mind with airy, almost ghostly ethereal pads; as if one is listening to exquisite orchestral meanderings in reverse while being pulled and stretched through time. Highly recommended. This album is fantastic for massaging the brain to a more wakeful state just as the first rays of sunshine peek over the horizon for a new day. Favorite track: there's something wrong with the stars.
